It’s just a nightstand.
It’s just a nightstand, and it is only a lamp, but I was sad. The rocking chair used to rock in that little nook of the room.
I recognized I was happy and sad about the same thing, and had nowhere else to bring this thought but here.
Can both be true?
Can I be sad that we had to move the nightstand, rocking chair, and lamp while I enter the unknown of the new feeling because the objects had to move?
Elijah’s room is rearranging, not just his room, but his routines, and his likes/dislikes.
I noticed this a few nights ago and I am still ruminating on it.
Now, I find myself surprised writing about it.
So what is this?
This is being in the midst of a “process.”
What are you in the midst of?
Are you experiencing something brand new?
Are you in the middle of a few things?
Do you have anyone along the journey with you?
Recently in a mock coaching session, with an adoptee, who is also a dear friend, here on my Youtube channel, you can see me guiding the client through a process. She is given the opportunity to think, talk, and be heard. If you watch till the end, you will see how Raya got to some conclusions and just how she got there. I also participated in a mock coaching session with Raya, and during our session, I went in thinking I wanted one thing, but she gave me time to process. In the midst of the process of being coached (being heard), I realized I needed something completely different.
What is your process to think through your own stuff?
How do you constructively rearrange the necessary changes in your life and world?
Try coaching!
See below for more details. If coaching isn’t for you right now, scroll down.
Coaching is only $75/hour.
You can choose a few different options, one of my favorites, is a 4-week, one-month session. For $370.99, you have monthly calls, and options to meet up, with access to me as your coach throughout the month.
Getting out of your head is important and so necessary.
I hope to walk you through some of your process, whatever it is, we can do it together.
ANNOUNCEMENT about my connection to you!!
My personal and company Instagram — (@)monarchconnections & (@) jetsettin_365 have been compromised. I share this because I TRULY miss being on and being connected to you all in the creative instaverse of IG. But also so you can share your contact information with me. (Yes, the ugly yellow post was from me on the Jetsettin page. Haven’t seen it, go click and see it now)
So if we have connected on there and I don’t have your phone number or blog name, share it with me so we can be in touch. It is not looking good.
I love you all. I hope this Friday and this newsletter bring you just a bit of joy.
Peace,
Molly w/Monarch Connections
P.S. If you are interested in Unpacking Whiteness, it is a discussion-based event around the article “The Invisible Knapsack”, please email me “I’m in” and prepare to pay $25ish for the event. I will send you all the details if you're in. Were meeting at 830 PM EST on Monday Juneteenth.
